Object Information

Jupiter and Neptune
Neptune had been hovering near Jupiter for a while, but I missed it because of poor weather. Still, I wanted to nail the last planet of our solar system. This shot is a combination of two 30 seconds exposures with a Canon 40D hooked to a 2.7 Lichtenknecker FFC camera. This region of the sky is poor in stars and Neptune was quite easy to find in the 16" Lightbrige. Its light seemed a bit stabler than the light of the neighbouring star, but I couldn't see any disk.
