The guy on the right is some nutcase called Pericles. An Ancient Greek who decided it was more fun to fight on the Peloponese than to argue on the Agora. His head was my favourite sculpture, until one of my friend pointed out it was actually quite effeminate and precious. Maybe so... Mozart-like in a sense : that is why it is here. This masterpiece can be seen in the British Museum and the picture is - surprise - mine ! Just shows decent things can be done with a HP PhotoSmart 1st gen camera. |
